We all dream of
days like this
Of happiness and
excitement
When all will gather
under one roof
Like today other
than other times
We can recall it
all from the beginning
till today and not
tomorrow
what the church
bells have rang for
what the podium has
intoned
what the rings have
joined
what those vows
have bound
we were here
for the groom the
bride
their family and
friends
we are here
to share their lot
bright and dull
will we be here
when the night
comes
and doors become
shut?
Will we be here
In winter like in
rain?
Will we really be
here?
