TONGUE WHICH ROTS NOT

They may speak noisily
With their hands
When silence has engulfed the lips
But the tongue which tasted pepper and salt
Will not go rotten
Long after the earth has covered it
Because it has spat into the heart
Into the mind and must come home to roost

JOY IN SADNESS

At the sound of the trumpet
A fleet of cars choked the entrance
Of the beautiful gate
Even before they passed
Those desperate feet
Through The portals into them
Their bride so immaculately dressed
Like one passing through a dressed garden full of thorns
Holding carefully her hood
A while, after an entanglement
An abuse
Anticipating joy in sadness

THE LIGHT IN YOU

If you’re light will be seen in the open
It should then be kept in you
As long as it takes;
Not faded or quenched
But still blazing
If not better than before.

come

Come
Enter not with your legs to drink
But your minds to fill it full

Come
Our fountain gashes out
Your dry bellies fill it full
And become the envy
Of one If even not of all.

Come
Friends, family, foes

Come
Freely drink
Deeply fill

Oh

Come

When opened wide my eyes

When opened wide my eyes
After crying aloud so high
I know not which hands
Held me to the brow
But vividly
Its unforgettable warmth
Which possessed all of me

Great to be young

Great to be young
Pleasant are the scenes
Which they bring along
Opening the metallic bars of youth

What happened?

The silent question
Which heard no answer.
What happened to the mind,
To the body, its action.
What happened?

I remember...
That hand which grabbed it
Which sealed it tight
To lose it easily.
I can’t remember,
... not anymore,
What happened?

Not only what happened
Why it all happened
Why I don’t know what happened
I don’t remember
I didn’t remember
... not anymore,
What happened.

I remember...
How I wished
It will stay, what happened.
If it is mine the fault to bear
If even not just ;
To end what is happening
To restore what happened .

This strength and will did all
No more can it do now
I remember only then
What it did, but
I don’t remember
What happened,
Why I don’t remember
... not anymore,
What happened.
